Baby Moon in Spain

Ate my way through Spain starting in San Sebastian and ending in Marbella. Here is my itinerary thanks to Petrabax.

Where we stayed:

San Sebastián:
Hotel Catalonia Donosti
This hotel was really central and in a great area.

Lekeitio:
Hotel Silken Palacion Uribarren
Right on the beach. Important to note, there was no AC so make sure you reserve a room on the ocean side. The sea breeze at night made it enjoyable.

Marbella:
Anantara Villa Padierna
This was my favorite hotel. Everything was phenomenal and we barely left.

Experiences:

Mimo Bite: The Experience
This was a Michelin star cooking course. It was really interesting to learn new techniques and all of the food was absolutely delicious. Note it takes a few hours.

Guggenheim Museum:
Worth the stop! It was a really cool place to see.

Balenciaga Museum:
Cool but wouldn’t go out of the way for this.

Bodegas Bilbainas:
We drove into La Rioja wine country for the day and toured some wineries. This one was Nic’s favorite.

Where we ate:

Restaurante Alameda:
a Michelin star restuarant - worth the drive! The town was really cute and we spent a few hours walking around after lunch

Restaurante Almiketxu:
We stopped at this place after visiting Mandake. It was up a mountain so the scenery was great, and the restaurant itself was really homey. Food was delicious

Bar Martinez:
An authentic Pinxto bar in the old town of San Sebastián. Highly recommend stopping by for an authentic experiences vs the newer, upscale places.
