Elle's Toy Picks // 9-12 Months

Now that Elle is 12 months old, I’m rounding up some of Elles favorite toys that she enjoyed playing with for the last few months - and still plays with today!

Object permanence box:

This was really exciting when she started to realize she could open the drawer and the ball was inside.

Stacking rings:

Stacking rings:

She enjoyed the challenge of stacking different kinds of rings versus the basic wooden ones.

Bilingual Flash Card Toy:

Elle is learning both English and Spanish and she loves listening to these flashcards. Tip: I took out just 20-50 cards with familiar objects (fruits, animals, etc) so she can was able to learn a few things at a time. I didn’t want to overwhelm her with so many new words.

Ball drop toy:

Ball drop toy:

She started grasping the concept by pushing the balls with her hands, and now she's graduated to using the hammer. She uses this daily.

Noah's ark:

This was a toy she received for her baptism, but she loved playing with all of the animals and pushing them into the ark.

When I tell you she's OBSESSED with this thing…she still gets excited every time I whip it out. This is a great restaurant or car seat toy, especially at night when the lights are really bright!
